Top 5 Movies To Watch in 2010
1. Shutter Island (February 19, 2009)
Its a Martin Scorsese movie so its sorta interesting. It stars Leonardo Di Caprio in a story about two U.S. Marshalls sent to a federal institution for the criminally insane located in Boston’s Outer Harbor to capture a violent female escapee.
2. Iron Man 2 (May 7, 2010)
How can we not watch this?
3. Robin Hood (May 14, 2010)
When Ridley Scott (director of Gladiator) teams up with Russel Crowe again to make an epic movie of Robin Hood, it becomes a must-watch.
4. Prince of Persia – The Sands of Time (May 28, 2010)
Remember the PC game way back to all the newer renditions? I hope the movie doesn’t fail the franchise. I heard that the release date has been moved for better effects and refinements.
5. The Last Airbender (July 2, 2010)
I think this should be an interesting movie. I haven’t watched any of the animated series but it has been quite a hit. Its a movie directed by M. Night Shyamalan too so it should be interesting to say the least.
I’m gonna reserve judgement for the last 5 movies I’d recommend. Some considerations at the moment are Expendables, Harry Potter, Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, and the Book of Eli. We’ll See..
Sniper Prank on Japanese TV
Only in Japan. Those guys sure can be extreme. This is what the video is all about, they got a guy in a room and they scared him into thinking that a sniper was shooting and killing everyone in his room. They were able to get the effects well organized that there were breaking windows, gunfire, and stuff. While the video is funny enough to share, I wonder how scary it must be for the prank victim. LOL.
Tom from MySpace tries out Facebook
Whoever remembers the days you still used MySpace? I came across this funny image on the Internet. Its supposedly MySpace’s creator ‘Tom’ trying out facebook. Hilarious. Read the wall from the bottom up for better appreciation.

I want this sticker!
I normally am not a big fan of car stickers as I don’t like the ricers who put so many stickers and dumb modifications on their car. But this…THIS I WANT!

Harry Potter Theme Park
Well.. officially, its called “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter”.

Universal Orlando Resort in Florida, US has revealed plans of developing the Harry Potter inspired theme park aptly named “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter”. (I still think something shorter would be nice). The project is a joint effort between Warner Bros. and Universal after gaining the rights to create a theme park based on J.K. Rowling’s novels. The park will be part of Universal’s “Island of Adventure” but expect the size and build of this park to be world-class quality.
The park is set to open in 2010 will be bringing all of the Harry Potter universe into real life as much as possible. The park will draw from both film and books across the whole storyline. Some of the announced attractions are:
- Hogwarts Castle
- Hogsmeade Station/Hogwarts Express
- The Owlery
- The Owl Post
- Ollivanders
- Dervish and Banges
- Zonko’s
- Honeydukes
- Three Broomsticks
- Hog’s Head
- Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods
- Dragon Challenge
- Flight of the Hippogriph
- Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey

Surrogates Trailer

This is my chosen movie trailer for the week. Surrogates seemed like a very interesting movie. Its sort of like “The Matrix” meets “I-Robot”. It stars Bruce Willis and is set to release on Sept 25, 2009 in the US.
People are living their lives remotely from the safety of their own homes via robotic surrogates — sexy, physically perfect mechanical representations of themselves. It’s an ideal world where crime, pain, fear and consequences don’t exist. When the first murder in years jolts this utopia, FBI agent Greer (Willis) discovers a vast conspiracy behind the surrogate phenomenon and must abandon his own surrogate, risking his life to unravel the mystery.
